One of the problems, when you are chronically sick or not doing well physically, is how emotionally draining it is. I know of what I speak having been through it myself. You wake up and getting out of bed is the hardest thing you can imagine because you feel so totally drained and void of motivation to push through your day.
On those days, it’s hard to determine if you are feeling depressed or if it’s something physical that’s literally affecting your emotions…for example you are detoxing copper or mercury and as it goes through your liver it makes you feel hopeless or doomed or sensitive to everything around you. Or you are dealing with candida and it’s making you feel spacey and you can’t think straight and you’re so exhausted from the fatigue that you can’t even stand up long enough to take a shower.
Let me just tell you, it IS physical and it’s almost as if the condition is messing with your emotions to keep you in that state of sick and unable to function. It’s those times that you are most likely to bite off the head of those you are closest to or burst into tears over a telephone company commercial. It’s those times that you should remember…it’s not real and it’s not really how you feel…it’s just your body messing with your mind and this is the time, to pick yourself up and stick to your program and eat the right foods and take your supplements and push through because it’s those times that you are probably on the verge of pushing through to your next layer or level of healing. It’s those times when it would be easiest to give up and throw up your arms and say “Screw it! What’s the point anyway!” when in reality, that is the time when it is most important to dig in your heels and focus even harder on pushing through and remember, it will be better tomorrow!
